Scouts Canada Mount Nemo Scout Camp, Burlington, Ontario

Mount Nemo is all season Scout Camp located in northern Burlington near the Niagara Escarpment and the Bruce Trail.  4284 Side Rd 2, Burlington, Ontario

Facilities include nine buildings - 8 with kitchens. Two with hot and cold running water and indoor washrooms.   Eight Adirondack shelters in three pods with numerous campsites ranging from wilderness sites to a large group campsite .   Campfire rings for all except the no impact sites.

Marked hiking trails,  nature centre (HiCop),  a bouldering wall, forests, valleys and wide open fields, a chapel & ceremonial campfire hill.

Mount Nemo Scouts Camp is a year round scout camp with heated buildings, unheated Pods and outdoor camping space.

Largest building on site!  Confed is a single story multi-use building close to the main parking lot and facing Confed Field, a large activity field.  Tent camping is available around the building.

  • Washrooms:  Yes - male, female plus adult/leader, and  outside KYBOs
  • Electricity:  Yes
  • Heat:  Forced air propane
  • Beds/Bunks:  4 bunks in 'cooks quarters' (no mattresses)
  • Sleeping on floor:   42 (9 cots on site)
  • Kitchen:  1 fridge, 1 freezer, 2 propane stoves, 3 ovens, sinks, counter space, pass through
  • Fire pit
  • Covered Patio with picnic tables
  • Very Large activity field 

Bring kitchen pots/pans/utensils.

BP Lodge

BP is a single story building with a large activity field and space for tenting.   The building includes a kitchen with running hot/cold water, indoor washrooms, a large dining /sleeping area and a small 3 bunk leader sleeping area.

  • Washrooms:  Yes, 2.   1 leader washroom separate from the youth washroom facilities.
  • Electricity: Yes
  • Heat: Forced Air Propane
  • Beds/Bunks:  3 in separate room (no mattresses)
  • Sleeping on floor: 30
  • Kitchen:  fridge, 6 burner propane stove/oven, sinks, countertop space, kitchen island, pass-through to main room.
  • Fire ring
  • Picnic tables
  • Large activity field for tenting and wide games

Bring sleeping pads and kitchen pots/pans/utensils.

  • Beds/Bunks:  6 (3 per small room), 20 (10 per large bedroom) no mattresses

Apple Day is a single story,  medium sized cabin with a main activity/sleeping room and 2 smaller sleeping rooms.

  • Electricity:  Yes
  • Heat:  Forced Air Propane
  • Beds/Bunks: 6 (3 per small room - no mattresses)
  • Sleeping on the floor:  20
  • Kitchen:  Fridge, 6 burner propane stove/oven, sinks (not plumbed), counter space.
  • Fire ring with benches
  • picnic tables
  • 2 grassy activity areas / tent space

Harvester Lodge

A good-sized, single story lodge with a large sleeping/activity room and 2 small side rooms with bunks (no mattresses).

  • Heat: Forced Air Propane
  • Beds/Bunks: 6 (3 per small room - no mattresses)

Pan "A"

A two-story building adjacent to Confed Field,  Pan A has an upstairs/main level of 2 sleeping areas with bunks (no mattresses)  and a lower level with dining/kitchen facilities.

  • Electricity:  Yes

Rover  is a two-story building with  direct access to the red trail.  The building has the kitchen and dining/meeting/sleeping area downstairs and a second-floor sleeping area (6 max people).
